Why Colorado College?

Colorado College is a private, liberal arts and sciences institution in the heart of Colorado Springs with a campus size of ninety acres located at the foot of Pike's Peak, “America’s Mountain.” The official college motto is "Scientia et Disciplina" or, as one scholar translated it, "Acquiring knowledge and living it.”  This motto is echoed in the curriculum pedagogy of the Global Debate Symposium as participants are encouraged to go beyond winning debates to utilizing the portable skills learned to transform their communities and the world.

Colorado College is consistently ranked as one of the top liberal arts schools in the United States.  As students access some of the best debate camp training available, they are able to do so while enjoying an average summer temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit and the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
